The repertoire of trio In Petto focuses on Scottish and Irish folk music; richly multicolored, mystical and nostalgic.
Solos and duos alternate with three-part singing. Accompaniment tools include; harp, piano, double bass, violin, mandolin, guitar, wistles and accordion. They like to perform music that touches the trio itself and connects them; from sensitive and subdued to more outspoken and up-beat, there is no lack of variety.
What does the audience think:
The audience appreciates the open character and authenticity of our concerts. This applies to the compelling Scottish and Irish tunes, but certainly also to the more subdued songs. This strikes a chord with many people. An experience not to be missed.
